In The Balconettes keren drie jonge vrouwen terug naar hun flat in een buitenwijk van Marseille. Wat een vreugdevolle reünie moest zijn, verandert in een koortsige nachtmerrie wanneer ze ontdekken dat tijdens hun afwezigheid een brute misdaad is gepleegd. Gewapend met solidariteit, humor en woede nemen ze het heft in eigen handen.
